GreyFox Essential Edition
GreyFox Essential Edition is proprietary subscription software distributed through a private customer repository and GHCR package access.
After checkout, repository access is provided by private GitHub invite. A GitHub account is required to receive access and pull the private package.
Essential also requires a signed license key supplied by Skilful Fox Studio. License verification happens locally inside the self-hosted deployment.
GreyFox Essential is licensed, not sold. The subscription grants limited internal-use rights during the paid subscription term.
Private repository access and package registry access are delivery mechanisms. They do not transfer ownership, source-code rights, redistribution rights, or sublicensing rights.
The private repository contains customer distribution files and documentation, not GreyFox source code.
Unless separately agreed in writing, no formal SLA applies. Direct support is available through the private repository issues and support@skilful-fox.com.
GreyFox Essential runs inside the operator environment. Prompts, completions, provider keys, logs, users, profiles, traffic history, and settings are not sent to a GreyFox-hosted service.
The manual update check reads only the public Essential release manifest and does not automatically download images, modify containers, or restart deployments.
